BMW Korea has opened an EV charging station concept exclusive to Korea, with six ultrafast chargers accessible to any EV model.
The city of Seoul will cap EV charging to 80 percent in an effort to increase access for more drivers.
SK Signet secured orders for at least 1,000 ultra-fast electric vehicle chargers from Francis Energy, a U.S. charging service provider, the company said Monday.
SK Signet said Wednesday it completed the construction of an EV charger plant in Plano, Texas, which will produce 400-kilowatt ultra-fast chargers.
The deal was signed between SK Signet’s European subsidiary and an unnamed oil company operating in Britain. SK Signet did not specify the name of the company.
